The two-story Neo-Classical library opened in 1911, one of the first public libraries in Northeast Georgia and the pride of Franklin County, is one of the few Carnegie buildings that has been preserved as a library.

The 1912 Depot houses the Lavonia Welcome Center, the Lavonia Downtown Development Authority and Better Hometown Program. Thanks to local citizens, the depot is housing some artifacts from the period as well as artifacts from Lavonia's past.

The 1898 building at East Main and Grogan has a beautiful marble front with intricate design around the door and windows. The 1920 building at Grogan and West Main was used extensively in the filming of the movie "Cobb."
