Franklin County is a Work Ready Certified Community After eighteen months of hard work, the much anticipated announcement was made. On Tuesday, April 14, 2009, Franklin County became a Work Ready Certified Community. We were the 8th county in the state to achieve this status and it is definitely something we shout about with pride. The original goal set to fulfill the requirements was three years.
